Postdoctoral researcher at the Food Science and Technology Department of the University of the Peloponnese

Dr. Maria – Chrysanthi Kafentzi is a postdoctoral researcher and appointed professor (under the status of PD/407) for the academic year 2022-2023 at the Department of Food Science & Technology of the University of Peloponnese. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Crete in 2010. Following that, she was accepted into the postgraduate program in the same department, specializing in Inorganic Chemistry. In 2016, she obtained her doctoral degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Bioinorganic Chemistry from Aix-Marseille University in Marseille, France. Also, she has participated in research projects involving collaborations with Humboldt University in Berlin and Université de Bretagne Occidentale in Brest. He has published her papers in prestigious scientific journals and presented her work at conferences through oral or poster presentations. Furthermore, she has received scholarships and awards during her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in recognition of her academic achievements.
