PhD candidate at the Food Science and Technology Department of the University of the Peloponnese

Ioannis Stathas is a doctorate student in the Department of Food Science & Technology of the University of the Peloponnese. The topic of his doctoral thesis is "the study of yeasts in must produced from grapes of the Prefecture of Messinia and their effect on the quality characteristics of the produced wines”. He graduated from the Department of Food Technology of the Technological Educational Institute of Kalamata (2016). In the year 2017 he became accepted in the Postgraduate Programme of the Department of Food Science and Technology of the University of West Attica with the title “Food Science and Technology” and specialization in “Food Quality Management” where he graduated. He has participated in conferences, meetings and seminars. Finally, during his undergraduate studies, he was awarded an honorary scholarship for his performance by the States Scholarship Foundation.
