Myrto Maragkou is a postgraduate student in the MSc in Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Patras for the academic year 2022 -2023. She graduated from the 3rd General High School of Kalamata in 2015 with an honors degree. She graduated from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Patras in 2022. She completed her thesis in the field of Physical, Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry on " Effect of Essential Oils on the Physicochemical Characteristics of Different Types of Nanoemulsions" under the supervision of Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras, Mrs. A. Koliadima. Immediately afterwards she was accepted to the postgraduate program of the same department, specializing in Analytical Chemistry & Nanotechnology. The topic of her master’s thesis will be "Effect of temperature on the physicochemical characteristics of different types of o/w emulsions in the presence of bacteriocins". During her postgraduate studies she performs tutoring work in the laboratory for undergraduate students of the Department of Chemistry, for the courses Experimental Physical Chemistry I, Experimental Physical Chemistry II and Analytical Chemistry I.
